New ONLINE Course Platform

I am happy to announce that a new Online Course platform was launched mid-June! The benefits of this new automated online course platform are that students can register 365 days/year, 24 hours/day, monitor their own progress, advance at their own pace, and receive a certificate of completion automatically once they have successfully completed the course.

Here is the order of the roll out:

ONLINE FCN THEORYOur new course platform is LIVE and was launched last month, beginning with the Online FCN THEORY Course. Several nurses from across Canada have been registering every week. I took the opportunity to complete the yearly revisions, so I updated all slide presentations, added new resources, BPG, removed old resources, added new optional exercises, updated/clarified the language on several questions & answers, and added more 'Canadian-specific' resources and content, all based on student feedback. Thanks to all the students over the past year that took the time to detail their feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of the course. A special thanks to Michelle DeGrandmont, Assistant Director of Nursing for auditing the course before it's launch.

ONLINE FCNEd: The second course to be transferred and launched on the new platform will be the Online FCNEd Course as early as September 7, 2021. Currently nurses can sign up on the WAIT LIST to cue their space in this very popular course.
